Warmest Holiday Wishes

Our halls are decked, the tree is glowing while the snow gently falls to the ground outside our home in Calgary. From our family to yours we would like to wish you a warm holiday season with loved ones nearby and all the best in the new year.

2015 was a big year for our family. We tackled our biggest renovation projects to date, were blessed with having Adam enter our life and faced with some unexpected health issues. Although some of the days (and nights!) seemed long and some renovation projects got pushed back – it has all been worth it.

We are looking forward to spending time with our family and friends this holiday season to relax and rejuvenate. Adam’s First Christmas will always have a special place in our hearts. We are looking forward to watching him grow, share family traditions with him and make new ones along the way.

We’ve also had the opportunity to sit down and plan out what we are going to tackle in 2016. We are starting the new year off with a bang by planning to destroy one of our main bathrooms upstairs. We can’t wait to share the reno project. We promise to take lots of photos! This bathroom is going to be a spa oasis after long days. Family

We are also planning to replace old windows this spring, refinish our solid oak double door entry way and refinish the outside of the home. (Mama Sylvia has also begun planning Adam’s 1st Birthday, which is going to be incredible without a doubt. Sylvia is still trying to convince Matt on a few details – stay tuned for some more DIY projects!)

We’d like to also take the opportunity to thank all of our readers who have come along on our renovation journey. We love the e-mails and feedback. Thank you!

From our home to yours may this Christmas be a special one for you and your family.

Cheers, Sylvia & Matt
